This year’s feature-length documentary film festival, the UnderhillFest will start on June 7 2022 at 8.30 pm in Podgorica. The opening of the 13^th edition of Underhill will be held at Njegošev park, at the open basketball court of BC Budućnost. The opening projection will be “Rosellini” by Alessandro Rosellini, a documentary about the family of the famous filmmaker Robert Rosellini. It’s a story about the filmmaker from the perspective of his eldest grandson Alessandro and other of Robert’s descendants, including his daughter Isabella Rosellini. 

After the documentary projection, visitors will enjoy a concert by Amy’s House, an Amy Winehouse tribute band.

The UnderhillFest will go on until June 15 with more than 20 projections at Njegošev Park and the Radosav Ljumović National Library (in the center of Podgorica). The films are divided into three sections: international, regional and non-competitive, with the addition of a selection of short documentaries.

As part of the festival, two films will be shown as part of the IN FOCUS program for the seventh year in a row. UnderhillFest is implementing this program in cooperation with the Center for Women’s Rights.

In addition, Teen Docs, a school of documentary film for high school students, will also be realized this year.
